This policy explains what I collect through this website and what I do with it. It is written in plain language on purpose. If anything here is unclear, call or email me and I'll explain it.

What I collect

If you fill out the form on this site, I collect the information you type into it:

• Your name
• Your business name
• Your phone number
• Your email address
• Whatever you write in the message box
• Whether you checked the box agreeing to receive text messages

If you call, text, or email me directly, I have whatever you send me that way.

What I use it for

I use the information you give me on this site for one thing: to contact you about your inquiry and, if you hire me, to provide the service you asked for. That's it. I don't use it for anything else.

I don't sell your information. I don't rent it. I don't trade it. I don't add you to a marketing list you didn't ask to be on.

Text messaging and your phone number

If you check the consent box on the form, I may text you about your inquiry. That consent is yours and it stays between you and me.

Plainly: your phone number and your text messaging consent are never shared with, sold to, or handed off to any third party or affiliate for marketing. Nobody else gets your number because you filled out my form.

How to opt out

Reply STOP to any text message from me and the texts stop. You'll get one confirmation message and then nothing further unless you contact me again. Reply HELP for help, or just call me.

To stop emails, reply to any email and say so. To have me delete what I have about you, ask and I'll delete it.

Who else touches your information

I run this business on ordinary tools — a website host, a phone and messaging platform, and email. Those providers process your information only so that I can run the service, and they're not allowed to use it for their own marketing. Beyond that, I share information only if the law requires it.

If you become a client

When I set up a system for your tree service business, that system sends texts to your customers under your business name. Those customers are yours. I process that information only to run the service for you, and I never use it for my own marketing.

How long I keep it

I keep inquiry information as long as I need it to respond to you and, if you hire me, to run your account and keep normal business records. When I don't need it anymore, I delete it.

Security

I take reasonable steps to keep your information secure and I use reputable providers. No system is perfectly secure, so I won't promise the impossible, but I'm not careless with what you give me.

Children

This is a business service for adults. I don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

If I change this policy, I'll update the date at the top of this page.
